Faster Crawling

This release is focused on performance. We have made some changes to the way Sitebulb handles your data as it crawls, to make auditing large websites faster, more stable, and efficient. In our testing, we have seen sites crawl 2 to 3 times faster than in the previous version. This is particularly relevant when auditing with the Chrome Crawler.

So, if you're one to watch the Progress screen while eagerly waiting for your Audit to finish, this one's for you.

More accurate Image collection

We have also made some improvements to how Sitebulb collects Image resources.

When using the Chrome Crawler and saving page resources, Sitebulb will only collect images found in the DOM - that means you may see a decrease in the number of images reported in your audits.

This results in fewer false positives and more streamlined and accurate data in your Page Resources and Alt Text metrics, and Hints.

Action Recommended: Delete Paused Audits

The new update and subsequent changes to the Sitebulb platform mean that any audits you may have paused before this version release cannot be resumed.

This may be the right time to go through that 'Paused' audits list and clean up any old abandoned audits!
